REFLECTION
Experience
This module is one of the more relaxed and easily applicable ones, especially in everyday life. In this module, we not only learn to operate editing applications like Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition, but we also practice working in groups. Every project and exercise I completed during this module had its own merits. However, my favorite was the TikTok/Instagram trends project. For this task, we were given the freedom to express ourselves and develop our editing skills.
Observation
Based on my experience during this module, Video & Sound Production managed to break my stigma that using professional editing software is very complicated. It turns out that if we learn the basics, it becomes easy. In this module, I learned the fundamental aspects of video and sound editing, which significantly expanded my knowledge in this area.
Findings
This module has been a real eye-opener for me. Learning the basics of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition made these tools much easier to use than I thought. Working in groups improved my teamwork, and I loved the TikTok/Instagram trends project, which let me get creative with my editing. I especially enjoyed editing one sound into five different kinds of sounds and learning stop motion in the final project. Overall, this module boosted my confidence and skills in video and sound production, proving that complex tools can be mastered with the right guidance.
