Task 1 - Thematic Website Proposal

INSTRUCTION

PROPOSAL

For task 1 students are required to make a proposal for a thematic website based on the topic selected.  The submission must include:
1.     Completed UI/UX proposal document.
2.     All processes (concept, wireframes, mood board, flow chart)

1. IDEAS

There are 5 potential topics I selected:
  1. Zayn Malik latest album - Room Under The Stairs:  This album contains 15 songs.  The singer hopes that with this album, listeners can see him as a human being and his true colors.
  2. Hale - Moisturizer product:  This product is interesting from the design wise, it has a simple design and personally as people who uses skincare daily I am interested in trying the product.
  3. Mineral Botanica - Facial wash: a brand that highlight simplicity, their idea is to use minerals and plants as a skincare ingredients that Indonesians and the rest of the world are proud to use.  Their product is affordable and have a good quality.
  4. Edward Scissorhands
  5. Wardah - Sunscreen: I am a regular customer of wardah, I like their sunscreen product.

After consulting with Mr. Shamsul, I decided to go with topic 1 but I made a difference by changing the direction of the topic, from a website to promote Zayn's album to creating a fan page that will talk about Zayn's journey in the music industry.  After getting the feedback and changing my direction, I renewed the PowerPoint as a guideline for me to complete my proposal

- Add a little bit graphic to make the wireframe clearer

REFLECTION

Experience:
Deciding on the idea of creating a website was quite difficult for me because before this I had never known about thematic websites.  However, with the guidance and input from the lecturer, I was able to determine and understand more about thematic websites.

Observation:
As it is my first time using Adobe animate I want to be more selective with what I'm gonna apply to my website, because I don't want to burden myself in the making process of the website while I'm familiarizing myself with how the software works.

Findings: 
This task taught me about planning and involved my critical thinking in future planning related to design matters.
