- SHAZAM

In this exercise, we are directed to make a photo manipulation of Hearst Mansion and Shazam in Photoshop.  Mr. Fauzi provided a tutorial video and power point on google classroom for us to follow.  Both tutorial showing how to apply photoshop features such as selection tools, layer mask, color adjustment, filters, and brush tool.

Here are the steps I did:
- Remove the background using remove backgroung
- Put the shazam into the Hearst Mansion
- Adjusting the color 
- Adding shadows with brush
- Apply gaussian blur effect
- Duplicate the shazam
- Place it into the water and make it as a reflection using ripple effect

- SELF REFLECTION

After practicing with Shazam picture, I am using my own picture with the same concept.  In my own version I am using a chair as a replacement for tripod for taking my own picture.  I edited my self reflection using same method as the Shazam reflection.

Same like what I did with the Shazam image, here are the step:
- Remove the background using remove backgroung
- Put my image into the Hearst Mansion
- Adjusting the color 
- Adding shadows with brush
- Apply gaussian blur effect
- Duplicate and reflect my image
- Place it into the water and make it as a reflection using ripple effect

REFLECTIONS

Experience:
Using photoshop is a new thing for me, but slowly I learned using the features and started enjoying it.  However, I still have to learn more until I fluent using Photoshop.  Through this task I learned the easiest way to delete background, adding reflection to the image, making shadows and some tricks that could help me save more time in editing.

Observation:
To manipulate picture so it looks promising it's hard, because we have to combine different picture with different nuance, lighting, and others.  Even though Photoshop already has automatic feature to adjust the color, we still have to adjust it by ourself.

Findings:
The tutorial provided was easy to follow and it changed my perspective about Photoshop, at first I thought that Photoshop was the hardest software, turned out that It is not that hard and make my job easier.
