REFLECTION

Experience:
This module is very challenging, I could say it is draining and always makes my heart beat two times faster.  Typography this semester is something else, it's getting harder.  I also had to rack my brains to come up with ideas for assignments (but that's normal for a design student).  In this module, I learned to hone my accuracy and creative thinking skills, because most of the assignments in this module rely on the ideas we come up with (we have to create everything from scratch, more or less like that).  But I'm glad I studied this module because it improved my skills and experience.

Observations:
I will never be tired of saying that discipline is the main thing and every time we meet the final task it fades away.  It's funny because I keep realizing it at the end of the semester (not really, I just believe I'm responsible enough to complete all these assignments).  Also, eyes are very important to me, because in this module, I also learned to observe how people work, and from that, I found new solutions and ways to tackle problems.  In addition, the assignments this semester mostly need fresh ideas, so discussions with friends are also needed to increase the intake of information and ideas into our brains.

Findings:
The important thing that I underline is that the first to third tasks lead us to get to know typography better, where each task is correlated.  For example, in the first assignment we learned about the eight types of typographic systems, this also relates to the next assignment which requires us to create a product and apply fonts according to its appearance.  Then it's the final assignment that sums it all up, where we use observation to decide what type of font we create, then apply it to make it look attractive, and apply it to things we encounter in our daily lives.  And most importantly, I learned to appreciate the process, especially in designing something, because it requires a lot of energy.
